I had heard such bad reports of mongolian food (and Michael Palin didn't help with his report on the TransSib), that what I was actually served was a very pleasant surprise: attractive to the eye and palate... and the lamb 'hamburger' was one of the tastiest that I have ever eaten. With a light dessert, the jingle of the wind chimes and a Korean beer, I muzzily dozed until they brought me my coffee.
