Roger WORROD (Wuzzy) > 015 Russia One April 2005 > After lunch
Roger WORROD (Wuzzy) > Marcus, Natalie & Costa with our driver and guide. As you can see, it was VERY cold.
Roger WORROD (Wuzzy) > The HotPot started off with a large fish, onions and Morning Glory to make the 'bouillon'. Then we cooked fish fillets, prawns and Thai Basil to serve over our rice. A few quartered tomatoes later and we were on to the chicken (in spite of the avian 'flu) and coriander, followed by beef, water mushrooms and tofu.
Roger WORROD (Wuzzy) > 015 Russia One April 2005 > Hoi Lim Lunch
Roger WORROD (Wuzzy) > Mongolian Lunch. I had heard such bad reports of mongolian food (and Michael Palin didn't help with his report on the TransSib), that what I was actually served was a very pleasant surprise: attractive to the eye and palate... and the lamb 'hamburger' was one of the tastiest that I have ever eaten. With a light dessert, the jingle of the wind chimes and a Korean beer, I muzzily dozed until they brought me my coffee.
Roger WORROD (Wuzzy) > Mila at Lunch
Roger WORROD (Wuzzy) > I asked Mila to choose where to take me for a Moscow lunch... A Tex-Mex was not what I would have offered a tourist with limited time in Moscow, but the meal was pleasant, as was the company.
