No news from Mila, although Rahel has been in contact with the Study Russian lady in Lutry (CH). Just have to keep my fingers crossed that Mila, or someone, will be there to take me across Moscow and give me the necessary documents.
When we stopped, the Chinese attendants all got to work washing and drying the outside of each carriage - this was mine... and by this time, I MEAN mine. Since my Mongolian companion and the American missionaries left the train, I was the only passenger left in the carriage... but some of the compartments were continually in use, as attendants from other carriages made the most of their off-duty time.
